For best results, make sure to apply to hair that has been pre-lightened correctly.
Starting level: Level 8 with soft roots, and previous highlights at a Level 9.

Formula 1: (lighteners)

Formula 2: (shadow roots)

  • 2 oz. of NEW Shades EQ Gloss 07 NA
  • 2 oz. of Shades EQ Processing Solution for precision application
  • 4ml pH-Bonder #1 Bond Protecting Additive

Formula 3: (Zones 2 and 3)

  • ½ oz. NEW Shades EQ Gloss 08 NA
  • 1 oz. NEW Shades EQ Gloss 09 NA
  • ½ oz. Shades EQ Gloss Crystal Clear
  • 2 oz. Shades EQ Processing Solution
  • 4ml pH-Bonder #1 Bond Protecting Additive

APPLICATION

Lighteners

  1. Take diagonal-back as well as triangle sections in the back of the nape.

  2. Use backcombing as well as the hair paint technique to get the most lightening in the nape, up to the occipital section.

  3. Move to the top of the head. Starting from the part line, use a square baby light approach to softly brighten up the base.

  4. To finish, use a diagonal-back parting, take micro stitches, and highlight the front hairline on both sides (approximately 3-4 foils on each side).

  5. Process at room temperature for 35 minutes (depending on the starting level of your client). Shampoo with Extreme, and dry hair.


Color

  1. Section the hair into four quadrants.

  2. Apply Formula 1 first to create the “shadow root’’ effect at the roots.

  3. Apply Formula 2 on Zones 2 and 3. For maximal blending, start your application with the color brush over the color of Formula 1.

  4. Process for 20 minutes.

  5. Rinse thoroughly, towel dry the hair, then apply pH-Bonder #2 Fiber Restorative Pre-wash Concentrate. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

  6. Wash and style !
