1. Where can I purchase Redken products?

Redken products can be found exclusively in professional salons. You can search for a local Redken salon by using the Salon Finder. If you are looking for a specific Redken product, call the salon and inquire whether or not your specific Redken product is carried at that location.

2. I would like to work for Redken Canada.

Redken is a division of the L’Oréal Group. If you would like to work for the head office of Redken Canada, please visit www.loreal.com and apply for a position at L’Oréal.

3. Why is a product discontinued and is there an equivalent for it?

REDKEN follows an International Marketing Plan and as part of this program we continuously review our product offering in view of keeping pace with our consumers’ requirements. We understand how you must feel concerning the disappearance of a product that you have used and enjoyed for many years. Please be assured that the decision to remove a product from our regular line is never taken lightly and is done only after careful consideration of all factors. It is never easy for us to make the decision to discontinue any of our products knowing that they will be missed by some and we truly regret any inconvenience.

There may be alternative products that could be suitable for you in our other lines. You can peruse the online product catalogue. 4. Does Redken test on animals?

We confirm that REDKEN, part of the L'Oréal Group, has carried out no animal testing on its entire range of products since 1989.

For several years now, our research laboratories have made tremendous efforts to develop alternative methods of testing. 5. Are Redken products sold at mass merchandisers, grocery chains, etc. of the same quality?

We would like to inform you that Redken products are authorized for sale to consumers exclusively through professional beauty salons. Only through these channels, will you receive professional product, professional advice and the Redken warranty.

When the product is sold at mass merchandisers, grocery chains, large retailers, drug stores etc... Redken has no information about the product - its origin, transport & storage conditions - and therefore cannot guarantee its quality.

We would therefore recommend purchasing through your hairdresser to ensure that you are receiving a personalized consultation, Redken quality product and that your purchases will be fully guaranteed.

6. I would like to contact Redken in another country.

We invite you to contact the Consumer Advice Center for your country of residence at www.loreal.com. On the Home Page, please select the L’Oréal Worldwide - Corporate Website option. Next, under the DISCOVER OUR BRAND PORTFOLIO heading, choose: REDKEN. Then click on: "Any questions regarding our products?" and follow the prompts to send your e-mail.

7. How do I become a model for a Redken event?

Redken events are held nationally and all year round. If you are interested in participating in one of Redken’s model calls, please contact our Events Coordinator at: redkenmodels@ca.loreal.com

Models are compensated by receiving a free color service, haircut and style and a basket of Redken products for a total value of over $400.

8. Is it safe to use Redken color while I am pregnant or nursing?

It is important to know that our body tends to be more sensitive while pregnant or nursing. Therefore, it is essential to perform a patch test before using any haircolor product.

9. Can you provide information for my school project?

We unfortunately do not have prepared information to send you. Since we receive so many different requests from students, it is not possible for us to answer each request individually.
